Jefferson Hall interview

We spoke to English actor Jefferson Hall who has been on shows like Vikings, Wizards vs. Aliens, and Taboo. He told us about his future plans and what the weather has been like in a pandemic. How did you pass the quarantine? -Mostly boring and alone at home, I live alone, I'm single so I had a very quiet time but at the same time it was fruitful for me to finish my project. Tell us about that, now will you be directing? -That's right, I've been away from the act for two years, not by choice, sometimes the phone just doesn't ring. And for a long time I wanted to write a script and I started last year, and in these months I had time to fix and refine some details but it is ready. Can you tell us something about what it will be about? -I can't speak much, but if it is a drama set in the 70s, it is a time when I was a child and it brings back beautiful memories, this drama is familiar and has a bit of everything, it also has a hint of mystery and a bit of humor, its like me. When do you start filming? -The next year in January, I want to film in Canada and if it goes well we will be filming between January and March, which covers winter, which is where I want the film to be set. You have been in several television series such as vikings, wizards versus aliens and taboo among others, would you like to return to the series? - I love series, being able to develop a character for a while and see how it evolves, for an actor it is gratifying, but for now I am focused on writing, it is a facet that I like a lot and if I can I would like to continue in it, but for Of course I love acting as well and I will always be available for a role that catches my attention, but I have written several ideas for several films in the future taking advantage of the confinement. Was the confinement hard for you alone? -Not for nothing, I made the most of it, of course there were days that I was bored just writing, I needed to go out with my friends, we used to get together and go out there and play pool. are you a good pool player? the best (laughs) but since we couldn't go, Alex (Ludwing) who I met filming Vikings together with Travis Fimmel played and even played pool online. How is that? -We had a group on WhatsApp, we became good friends and when we could we got together, Alex, who is the youngest and most technological, told us that there was a page (gamezer) where we could meet in a room and play, at first we didn't like Travis the idea, because we don't get along very well with technology, but it convinced us and it was really entertaining, now there's no one who can get me out of there.
